“When I was a little girl, our mother taught my sister Sonia and me to sew on her treadle machine. She told us we could use any of the scraps from the ‘Rag Bag’ and we certainly did! There were many doll clothes and little quilts that came to life from that old Rag Bag. Sewing became synonymous with play time.
